Winter Learning Challenge: Blast Off  Winter Learning Challenge runs from December 15, 2014 - January 5, 2015. Kids can Read, Discover and Create over winter vacation as they explore stars, planets and more with the Winter Learning Challenge! Kids through age 13 are invited to participate in the Winter Learning Challenge between December 15, 2014 and January 5, 2015. To complete the challenge: READ (book, magazine or website) for 20 minutes a day for five days over winter break DISCOVER new information about space by doing one activity CREATE one story, piece of art or design challenge inspired by space Kids can keep track of their progress with the Winter Learning Challenge Log and return completed logs to any Chicago Public Library location by January 12, 2015 to receive a free book.
